They tend to be colorful with bright casino markings and really do add some casino realism to your game. They often come with cupholders and poker chip trays for each player.

For a little more, you can go with wooden tops. These are also folding but are a bit heavier and are less likely to be disturbed during poker play. The wood base makes them more durable so they will generally last longer. Prices are generally under $90 including shipping.

For the more serious players you can go with the premium poker table tops. These are also wood base and are larger and heavier than all the others. These folding tops have high end features like the poker tables that give them a better look and feel, such as padded felt that muffles the sound of the poker chips hitting the table, much more like a casino table. Padded armrests and cupholders are also features you often see. Usually you will see these in the low $100 price range. Because of the weight, shipping on these is much higher than foam tops so you need to be aware of that. But their durability and play quality is often worth the extra cost.

Sizes and Shapes
Most all the ranges of foam, wood, and premium folding table tops come in multiple sizes and designs. Some even have markings and function for multiple games like roulette, texas holdem, and blackjack. If you have a small round or rectangular dining or kitchen table to put it on, there are 48" octagonal or round table tops. These will usually have stations for up to 8 players but it may be a little cramped for the people if you have that many around such a small table.
For larger tables there are rectangular or oval shaped folding tops that come in sizes I have seen up to 82" x 42". The very largest can seat up to 10 players and are ideal for tournament games.
